News
“Bardo Thodol, or Liberation Through Hearing” – a gripping and immersive sonic journey through the transitional states of consciousness and emotion. In this powerful new work, Ignacy Zalewski joins forces with the acclaimed proMODERN vocal sextet, clarinet virtuoso Andrzej Ciepliński, hypnotic percussionist Leszek Lorent, and the Fryderyk-nominated Chopin University Modern Ensemble led by Przemysław Zych.
Inspired by The Tibetan Book of the Dead and composed to the poetic translation of this masterwork prepared by Mateusz Żaboklicki, this album dives into the “in-betweens” of both death and what we experience daily: fear, clarity, struggle, and release.
This is music to feel, to absorb – to truly hear.
Now available – don’t miss the release!
Available from April 25, 2025 on most popular streaming platforms – including in immersive Dolby Atmos sound system.
